After leaving Pehelwaan’s, dad, Nani, and I made our way to a Hanuman mandir not too far from where we were. My dad said that this was a place he used to visit very frequently (especially right before tests, haha) when he was in college at BHU. Hanuman is a character from the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. He was a vaanara, or monkey, and the son of Vaayu, the wind god. He was an incarnation of Shiva, endowed with special intelligence and might, and the greatest devotee of Lord Rama, hero of the Ramayana.
We entered the temple, said our prayers, and left.
